Before getting started with a tutorial you should become familar with the various parts of ThinkDigits.
The ThinkDigits calculator (shown below) is the main view within the application. From here you can perform calculations and manipulate numbers, notes and functions.

The calculator operates like a regular calculator with the addition of some special keys:

Allows you to access help and set your preferences for colours, background images and quick text labels. For more information on defining your preferences see Settings.
Calculator Display
To keep the result of a calculation for later use simply drag and drop the calculator display into the page area of the screen. As you drag the calculator display, it will be converted into a tag that can be dropped into the page view for later use. See Using Tags.

Standard Calculator Operators
If you have a tag or function on your page, you can simply drop a tag or function directly on any of these keys.

Page View Button
The Page View button will display the number of pages in your page collection.

Page Area
To change page information and settings double tap on the Page Area.. In the page settings you can change the following:
- Title – a name for your page. The page name appears on top of the page view.
- Show in page – enables the display of a title inside the page
- Colour – selects the colour of the title if shown inside a page
- Notes – any page notes you might what to collect.
- Theme – select a background from the library of background pictures or select a picture from your own picture collection
- Theme Transparency – use the slider to alter the amount of transparency in your background theme.
