The Page View allows you to see your full page as well as common functions like adding new pages, deleting pages and sharing pages via email. A sample of page view is show below.
To return to the calculator select the done  button. As a shortcut you may double tap the page background to return to calculator view.

Adding a new page

To add an additional page, press the New Page button.

Copy a page

To copy a page, press the Copy page button. The copied page will be added to your page collection and the Calculator view will be displayed.

Deleting a Page

In the page view, press the delete page button  to remove the current page.

Moving between pages

There are several ways to move between pages:

  • Swipe either left or right. To swipe place you finger on one edge of the screen and drag to the opposite side of the screen.
  • Tap the Page selector at the bottom of the page.

Sharing a Page by email

You can share a page via email in a number of formats:

  • ThinkDigits Thought Bubble – this format allows you to share pages with other ThinkDigits users . These pages can be edited can changed.
  • PDF – this is a portable read only format available for a large number of computers.
  • Backup File – makes a back up of all your pages

Note: ThinkDigits PDF facilities are only available to iPhone OS 3.0 and above users.

Note: ThinkDigits Thought Bubble contain embedded PNG images in each email. Various mail programs may not allow these images to be displayed.

ThinkDigits Thought Bubble

A ThinkDigits Thought Bubble is a email message containing a hyperlink. The hyperlink contains a ThinkDigits page that can be loaded by a user of ThinkDigits.

To send a Thought Bubble:

  1. Select the Share Pages (email icon) on the Page View
  2. Select the Thought Bubble button.
  3. Enter the recepient details.
  4. Select the Send button. Your email will then be sent.
  5. Additionally a ThinkDigits Thought Bubble message contains an embedded image of your page as a .PNG file.

To open a Thought Bubble:

  1. Using your iPhone/iPod Touch’s email application, open an email containing the Thought Bubble.
  2. Click the hyperlink in the email.
  3. ThinkDigits will start and ask if you wish to open the page.
  4. Confirm that the page should be loaded.
  5. The page will be added to your page collection and displayed.
  6. The page can now be edited, copied, shared or deleted.

Adding a Thought Bubble to a web page

If you would like to share your work via the web, you can put ThinkDigits Thought Bubble hyperlinks into web pages. ThinkDigits users can then open these hyperlinks using their Safari browser. Its just like opening the ThinkDigits sample pages.

Using a HTML editor, the hyperlink can be copied from you a Thought Bubble email message and pasted in a web page. You should not alter the hyperlink URL as it is an encoded XML document and if altered may not open correctly within ThinkDigits.

PDF – Sending a PDF page

A PDF file is a common format for exchanging of documents that can be both viewed and printed on a variety of devices. To send a PDF file:

  1. Select the Share Pages (email icon) on the Page View
  2. Select the PDF button.
  3. Enter the recepient details.
  4. Select the Send button. Your email will then be sent.

Backup File – Make a backup of all your Pages

A Backup File will make a single email that contains a copy of all your ThinkDigits pages. Each page is representated as a ThinkDigits Thought Bubble in the email. To create a backup file:

  1. Select the Share Pages (email icon) on the Page View
  2. Select the Backup File button.
  3. Enter the recepient details.
  4. Select the Send button. Your email will then be sent.

To restore a page from a backup file, simply tap on the page’s hyperlink as with a ThinkDigits Thought Bubble.
